CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
Director, New Product Launch
Overview:
The Director of New Product Launch (Director NPL) is responsible for driving all product launch activities for our new product, iPDF.
Core tasks include working cross-functionally to achieve a seamless and successful product launch, as well as to drive rapid customer adoption and ensure customer satisfaction. The role is broad, and includes determining the ‘go-to-market’ product specifications, most appropriate pricing model, determining the NPL marketing strategy and material, the best sales channels, etc.
Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities:
- Ensure cross-functional communication and alignment to achieve launch milestones and overall readiness for the product release.
- Ensure that product release will meet the desired objectives.
- Oversee the planning, directing and coordinating of the new product launch (NPL) function to ensure that product launch objectives — encompassing timeliness, cost, asset utilization, unit pricing, unit volume, revenue growth and/or market growth — are agreed and met.
- Determine go-to-market strategy in collaboration with stakeholders and cross-functional peers in sales and marketing.
- Leverage data to achieve continuous improvement of product launch and product development strategy.
Additional responsibilities and skills:
- Develop and Maintain Product Launch Best Practices
- Develop and adopt, by using a continuous improvement mindset, the best practices for the NPL strategy and the supporting procedures that will ensure new product success.
- Develop and maintain documentation for NPL business processes that are consistent with the company’s business strategies and expected outcomes, as well as the company’s policies.
- Conduct Market Analysis and align with Product Launch Strategy
- Market dynamics: Possess a clear understanding of both the buy-side and sell-side forces impacting the industry, as well as technological changes or other factors that might impact the success of the NPL.
- Ideal customer profile (ICP): As part of the product marketing strategy, recognize the characteristics of the ideal consumer, barriers and accelerators to adoption.
- Ability to work collaboratively, with positive feedback from cross-functional peers and stakeholders
- Maturity in development of processes designed to achieve stakeholder alignment, conflict resolution, balance of cost, and time and quality considerations.
- Development of NPL talent and proactive risk mitigation in NPL projects
- Represent the company at conferences and events and other typical new product launch duties as required.

Qualifications
Education
Required:
■ Bachelor’s degree in business, product management, project management, science or engineering, or another relevant degree program
Preferred:
■ Master’s degree in business, science, project management or engineering, or another relevant field or graduate certificate in product management
Experience
- Ten years of proven product management or product marketing experience
- Track record of five or more years of successful product launches including defining, documenting and/or conducting complex, multifunctional projects
- A minimum of five years of progressive, hands-on operational and managerial experience in business functions, with a preference for experience in new product development and commercialization functional roles.
- Proven experience interfacing with C-level colleagues, and the ability to communicate business or functional strategies and needs to senior executives and strategic partners

Sales Executive, Infrastructure & Government (Shoreditch, London, United Kingdom)
Overview:
Affinitext is seeking a Sales Executive to join our growing team targeting large B2B corporations. You will focus on developing new business with new and existing clients in the infrastructure and Government sectors. You will leverage your expertise and knowledge to effectively manage relationships and new business opportunities. You will be provided with a dedicated sales enablement support who will give you the tools, knowledge and support you need to quickly overachieve your quotas and achieve success. This role will work with accounts globally via web meetings, but the majority of the activity will be in the UK. You might be required to travel to our APAC offices in Australia for training or corporate meetings. There is an opportunity for overachievers to join the executive teams in an exotic location for our yearly sales kick-off meeting. Your compensation will include a base salary as well as a commission.
Responsibilities:
- Close new business, meet or exceed quarterly revenue target.
- Although you will be provided with leads, you are required to generate your own leads to ensure you achieve your goal.
- Qualify leads and understand business needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with multiple professionals within prospect companies (c-suite executives, project directors, general counsel, compliance executives, knowledge management, innovation & technology teams) at target blue-chip entities and service providers to those entities, within a defined territory and/or to a defined set of targeted prospects.
- Rigorously manage product trials from beginning to close and successfully handover to the customer success team.

- Consistently use SalesForce.com to log prospect communications, and keep pipeline status up to date.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the product and ensure customers are using the software to its fullest, especially during the onboarding phase.

- Strong Government and Infrastructure knowledge and relationships are preferred, as 80% of the targets will be in these sectors.

- Excellent “demo” skills are mandatory, ideally with experience working for a small vendor of B2B subscription SaaS software.
- Experience selling to Infrastructure and Government entities and their professional services firms (law firms, insurers, etc) is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Experience managing complex contracts. Legal practice experience is a plus.

Overview:
Affinitext is recruiting a Full Stack Developer to join our Development team in Budapest.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and continuous improvement of an existing Python-based web application, working with a small team of developers.
- Backend programming (python)
- Frontend programming (javascipt, html)
- As a senior developer, at times you’ll be asked to:
- Analyse tasks
- Devise and document possible solutions.
- Break down tasks into smaller units, provide estimates
- Share tasks with other developers and work with them closely to deliver a solution.
- Expected ratio of {programming}:{design} tasks is about 80:20.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of web development (frontend + backend)
- Analysis, Design and Planning skills: Translation of business requirements to technical level; breaking down tasks into sub-tasks

- Strong competency in front-end web technologies (Javascript, HTML, CSS, AJAX)
- Understanding of Relational databases and SQL (prefer PostGres knowledge)
